Extension scénique du label indépendant MTL Sauce piquante, le Soundsystem popotte une recette un brin délirante mais toujours digeste où s’émulsionnent ska, rumba, calypso, funk et punk. DJ Oonga, flanqué des chanteurs et rappeurs KC et Gioco, et de guitaristes, percussionnistes et autres musiciens joyeux lurons qui ne donnent pas leur place quand il faut jammer, s’immisce dans la conversation sur un ton léger et boute-en-train, en français, espagnol, anglais et portugais, invitant tout le monde à la fête.

As the performance side of the independent label MTL Sauce Piquante, this Soundsystem is cooking up a recipe that’s a little crazy but fully digestible, a delicious blend of ska, rumba, calypso, funk and punk. Backed by singer-rappers KC and Gioco, as well as guitarists, percussionists and other fun-loving musicians who hold their place when it comes to jamming, DJ Oonga jumps into the mix with a light-hearted, jovial tone, using French, Spanish, English and Portuguese, inviting everyone to join in the party.
