La compagnie Vías, qui a piloté cette création atypique, a reçu le Prix de la danse de Montréal 2024 – Catégorie Révélation.

Drawing from the vast repertoire of his Lieder, short works for voice and piano, they weave an intimate and profound connection between movement, music, and poetry. The expressive, physically charged dancing of Diana León and Paco Ziel intertwines seamlessly with the singing of baritone Olivier Bergeron and the performances of pianist Chloé Dumoulin. The artistic chemistry among these four rising stars of dance and music is remarkable. Together, they capture the emotional complexity that lies at the heart of Schubert’s Lieder. Above all, they give body and soul to a vibrant journey of introspection and joyful communion. The company Vías, which spearheaded this distinctive creation, received the 2024 Montreal Dance Award in the Revelation category.
