Festival de Lanaudière : Nézet-Séguin et Cho : l’ivresse du sentiment

Entre Chopin et Tchaïkovski, un fil rouge : celui de la passion tumultueuse, de la sensibilité à fleur de peau, du pathos et du tragique, la fantaisie rêveuse et l’extase du premier répondant à la force et au geste enflammé du second. Yannick Nézet-Séguin et Seong-Jin Cho, de retour à l’Amphithéâtre après leur concert conjoint de l’été 2019, les réunissent en conclusion – spectaculaire – de l’édition 2023 du Festival.

A common thread of tumultuous passion, raw sensitivity, pathos, and tragedy runs between the works of Chopin and Tchaikovsky, the former’s dreamlike fantasy and ecstasy vying with the latter’s fiery power and gesture. Yannick Nézet-Séguin and Seong-Jin Cho, returning to the Amphitheatre after their first joint concert in the summer of 2019, reunite for nothing less than a spectacular conclusion to the Festival’s 2023 edition.
