Def Leppard est un groupe de hard rock originaire de Sheffield, en Angleterre, et l’un des groupes musicaux ayant vendu le plus de disques de tous les temps. Le groupe a écoulé plus de 100 millions d’albums à travers le monde et a été intronisé au Rock and Roll Hall of Fame en 2019. Cette distinction a été décernée aux membres actuels Rick Allen (batterie), Vivian Campbell et Phil Collen (guitares), Joe Elliott (chant) et Rick Savage (basse), ainsi qu’à l’ancien guitariste Pete Willis et au regretté guitariste Steve Clark. Depuis sa formation en 1976, Def Leppard a lancé 12 albums studio, dont son premier album, On Through the Night, paru en 1980, ainsi que Slang, sorti en 1996, le premier album complet enregistré avec la formation actuelle du groupe. Overall, the band have earned eight Top 10 albums led by 15 Top 40 singles such as “Pour Some Sugar on Me,” “Photograph,” “Rock of Ages,” “Animal” and the 1988 Hot 100 chart-topper “Love Bites.”
