Leur spectacle précédent, More Forever, a été récompensé d’un prix Bessie à New York. Counterpoint commence et se termine par un Aria des Variations Goldberg de Bach. Également au programme d’autres morceaux classiques (Brahms, Ravel, Mozart), des standards du jazz, et pour couronner le tout, une œuvre qui jette un pont entre traditions et styles, Rhapsody in Blue de Gershwin. Danse et musique ne font qu’un. Un vrai moment de plaisir.

The ultra-talented duo Caleb Teicher and Conrad Tao have been working together for years, creating and performing exhilarating dance concerts. Their last show, More Forever, won a Bessie Award in New York. This year, Counterpoint starts and ends with a movement from Bach’s Goldberg Variations. Also on the program, other classical works (Brahms, Ravel, Mozart), jazz standards, and a work that spans the two genres, Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue. Music and dance blend into a seamless work of true pleasure.
