Tout a commencé en Nouvelle-Écosse à la fin de l’année 1969. Les frères Henman, David et Ritchie, se sont réunis avec leur cousin Jim Henman et un autre musicien, Myles Goodwyn, pour former un groupe appelé April Wine, un nom choisi simplement parce qu’il s’agissait de deux mots qui sonnaient bien ensemble. Quinze albums studio, trois albums live, de nombreuses compilations, un coffret et des milliers de concerts plus tard, April Wine est devenu extrêmement populaire au Canada, aux États-Unis et dans le monde entier.
It all began in Nova Scotia late in 1969. The Henman brothers, David and Ritchie, got together with their cousin Jim Henman and fellow musician Myles Goodwyn to form a band called April Wine, a name chosen simply because they were two words that sounded good together. Fifteen studio albums, three live releases, numerous compilations, a boxed set and thousands of concerts later April Wine has become enormously popular in Canada, the United States and throughout the world.
