Tommy Lefroy est le roche tendre projet de Wynter Bethel et Tessa Mouzourakis. Tessa et Wynter viennent de Vancouver et Michigan mais elles habitent à London et Los Angeles maintenant. Thomas Lefroy était le briseur de coeur et la muse de Jane Austen.

Tommy Lefroy is the self-produced soft rock project of Wynter Bethel and Tessa Mouzourakis. Tessa and Wynter, originally from Vancouver BC and Northern Michigan, are now based in London and Los Angeles. Thomas Lefroy was the heartbreaker muse of Jane Austen.

Leith Ross

Leith Ross (iel) est auteur-compositeur, chanteur•euse et artiste né•e et élevé•e en Ontario, dans une petite ville en dehors d’Ottawa, au Canada. Depuis sa naissance, Leith est une personne sensible et excessivement artistique. Lorsqu’iel a commencé à écrire des chansons vers l’âge de 12 ans, c’est rapidement devenu le moyen privilégié pour Leith d’explorer cette forte sensibilité artistique. C’est toujours le cas. Depuis, iel a enregistré et sorti deux projets, avec un nouveau en cours. Inspiré•e par Lucinda Williams, Dolly Parton, les bandes originales de Disney, High School Musical et les horribles parodies de son père de celles-ci, ses chansons tentent d’explorer les thèmes de l’amour déchirant et quétaine à mort, l’humour et l’existentialisme extrême : ses affects préférés. Le dernier single de Leith, We’ll Never Have Sex, qui déborde de ces affects, est déjà disponible. Bientôt live, c’est promis !

Leith Ross is a songwriter, singer, and artist born and raised in a small town outside of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. They’ve been a sensitive and overly artistic person since birth and when they started writing songs around the age of 12 it quickly became Leith’s favourite way to be sensitive and overly artistic. Still is. Since then, they’ve recorded and released two projects, and have a new one underway. Inspired by the likes of Lucinda Williams, Dolly Parton, Disney movie soundtracks, High School Musical, and their dad’s horrible parodies of all the above, their songs attempt to explore themes of gut-wrenching and cheesy love, silliness, and extreme existentialism. Their favourite stuff. Leith’s latest single, “We’ll Never Have Sex,” is soaked in that ‘favourite stuff’ and ready to be listened to wherever you can find it. Basée à Toronto, Fry aime décrire Housewife comme un projet composé de tous ceux qui collaborent avec elle – dans les studios d’enregistrement de Nashville, Los Angeles et New York, ou en tournée partout en Amérique du Nord. Plus récemment, Fry s’est rendu à Nashville pour écrire et enregistrer ces chansons et d’autres avec des piliers de l’industrie musicale comme le producteur et multi-instrumentiste Gabe Simon (Lana Del Rey, Dua Lipa, Anderson .Paak), l’interprète et producteur Mikky Ekko (Rihanna, Vince Staples, Diplo) et l’artiste indie pop Young Summer.

Based in Toronto, Fry likes to describe Housewife as a project comprised of anyone who collaborates with her — in Nashville, Los Angeles, and New York City-based recording studios, or on tour everywhere across North America. Mostly recently Fry traveled to Nashville to write and record these songs and others with music industry mainstays like producer and multi-instrumentalist Gabe Simon (Lana Del Rey, Dua Lipa, Anderson .Paak), performer and producer Mikky Ekko (Rihanna, Vince Staples, Diplo), and indie pop artist Young Summer.

Fresh Wax manage to fill up the sound with pulsating vintage synthesizers, wild bass playing, energetic drumming, and lyrics that say more with less. The two piece bring an unique unheard sound combining many different elements with melodic ambience and a driving rhythm, all while staying true to their influences of 70s art-rock and post-punk as seen in their debut 2022 album Fresh Wax.

Ce ne sont pas des sujets de discussion que l’on entend souvent sur les pistes de danse, mais Charlotte Adigéry et Bolis Pupul les imposent. Charlotte Adigéry et Bolis Pupul bouleversent les règles du jeu avec leur premier album, Topical Dancer. Le duo gantois, qui s’est fait connaître en 2019 avec son EP, Zandoli, sur DEEWEE, le label de Soulwax, est composé de conteureuses, chose rare dans le domaine de la musique électronique : ils prennent le pouls de l’époque et l’intègrent dans leurs concoctions de synthés ludiques, jamais didactiques et toujours complices.

Cultural appropriation and racism. Social media vanity. Post-colonialism and political correctness. These are not talking points that you’d ordinarily hear on the dancefloor but Charlotte Adigéry andnBolis Pupul are ripping up the rulebook with their debut album Topical Dancer.
