The city also has certain musical fixtures who have been working the corridors of this metropolis, engineers of the new sounds that have come to define this city, and its music’s global reach over the years. One such personality is Poirier, a hyper-talented DJ/Producer who started carving out his unique style in 2001 with a mastery of minimal house and glitchy hip hop, eventually winding his way to more tropical sound – mixing Latin, Afro Caribbean, Soca, Reggae, and every other sun-kissed groove you can imagine into a sonic quilt that always pleases the ears.
