This first complete album by Juniore sets the Parisian band somewhere between Françoise Hardy, Jacqueline Taïeb or Stella’s yéyé and, for the more contemporary side, a less sugary Les Calamités or La Femme in their most retro expressions. Brilliantly executed and tied together, Ouh là là winks at the ’60s repeatedly but it is neither a revisionist album, nor a pastiche of a bygone era. It is rather a timeless record with a slightly worn charm, superbly cool and sexy.
