With this fourth album, Abd Al Malik entered the new decade by skillfully moving away from slam, but not too far from it. With the help of Gonzales handling production, the Strasbourg MC coats his poetry with textures of electro pop, hip-hop and even ska, often in support of heady melodies. The recipe is perfectly mastered, an exercise in style that remains relevant 10 years after its release.
