Originally, Deepchord was made up of Rod Modell and Mike Schommer. Today, Modell remains. Like ambient, dub techno invites us on an introspective journey. Here the progress is so controlled that it’s sometimes difficult to perceive the passage from one track to another, as it all flows like water. The carefully refined textures, bass and sound washes occupy a wide spectrum, providing immersion in an ethereal, warm and organic atmosphere. Do not be surprised if the notion of temporality becomes quite relative.
