TALK is the performing name of Canadian musician Nicholas Durocher, a throaty rock singer known for his heartfelt, space-themed ballad “Run Away to Mars.” After self-releasing the track in 2021, the acoustic rocker became a viral success the following year, eventually climbing to the top of Billboard’s Adult Alternative chart in early 2023. TALK relocated to Los Angeles and inked a deal with Capitol Records, which issued his full-length debut, Lord of the Flies & Birds & Bees, later that year.
