Originaire de Créteil, en France, le pianiste Simon Denizart a introduit ses couleurs jazz à Montréal lorsqu’il s’y est installé en 2011.

Appelé par Radio-Canada la Révélation Jazz 2016/2017, Simon Denizart tourne dans plusieurs pays européens tels que la Belgique, l’Allemagne, la République tchèque, la Pologne, et sa France natale. Salué par la critique comme un “incroyable talent” (Radio-Canada), “un nom à retenir” (FIP – Jane Villenet), et il a été nommé pour le meilleur album de jazz de l’année à l’ADISQ en 2017 et 2018.

Dans le style du jazz européen et des musiques du monde, Simon Denizart joue une musique douce, sensible et énergisante avec des mélodies subtiles et accessibles.

Originally from Créteil, France, pianist Simon Denizart introduced his jazz colors to Montreal when he moved there in 2011.

Called by Radio-Canada the Jazz Revelation 2016/2017, Simon Denizart tours in several European countries such as Belgium, Germany, the Republic of Czech, Poland, and his native France. Critically acclaimed as an “incredible talent” (Radio-Canada), “A name remember” (FIP – Jane Villenet), and he’s been nominated for the Best Jazz Album of the year at l’ADISQ in 2017 & 2018.

In the style of European Jazz and World Music, Simon Denizart plays soft, sensitive and energizing music with subtle and accessible melodies.
