Boléro, Cha-cha-cha, Danzón, Filin, Guajira, Guaracha, Habanera, Mambo, Rumba, Son, Timba, etc. Ses rythmes toniques, très variés, grisants, sont reconnaissables entre mille et cadencent le quotidien. Les cuivres acérés, les percussions intenses et la bonne humeur contagieuse de Septeto de Montréal, sous la direction musicale de Julio de Armas, donnent inévitablement envie de danser et de s’amuser, de laisser aller tout le reste. Ce groupe fidèle à ses traditions, qui a partagé la scène avec des artistes de renom comme Isaac Delgado et Haila María Mompié, promet d’enflammer la scène.

In Cuba, music can be heard everywhere, all the time: boléro, cha-cha-cha, danzón, filin, guajira, guaracha, habanera, mambo, rumba, son,cubano, timba…. Its lively, varied and exhilarating rhythms are instantly recognizable and provide a backdrop to everyday life. Under the musical direction of Julio de Armas, Septeto de Montreal‘s sharp brass sound, intense percussive rhythms and infectious joy, will make you want to drop everything just so you can dance and have fun! This traditional Cuban music group, who shared the stage with renowned artists such as Isaac Delgado and Haila María Mompié, promises a festive show, muy caliente!
