In 2023, William won 1st prize in his category at the Concours de La Relève Musicale de Québec, as well as the French melody prize donated by baritone Jean-François Lapointe and the prize awarded by jury president Rachel Martel for best stage presence in the competition’s “Maîtrise” category. The same year, he also won 1st prize in the “Classical Singing” category of the Sherbrooke Music Competition.
