Dès son arrivé à Montréal en 1990, Timothy Armstrong, membre de Brokenhead Ojibwé Nation à Manitoba, a été chanteur pour plusieurs groupes, ainsi que soliste pour le Peoples Gospel Choir de Montréal. Pendant son passage avec le Peoples Gospel Choir, il a monté sur scène avec plusieurs artistes appréciés du Québec, tel que Patrick Norman, Breen Lebœuf et Dan Bisgras. En tant qu’activiste des Premières Nations, il utilise sa musique pour mettre en lumière les enjeux touchant son peuple. 

Since arriving in Montreal in 1990, Timothy Armstrong, a member of Manitoba’s Brokenhead Ojibwe Nation, has been a singer with several groups, as well as a soloist with Montreal’s Peoples Gospel Choir. During his time with the Peoples Gospel Choir, he performed with many of Quebec’s best-loved artists, including Patrick Norman, Breen Lebœuf and Dan Bisgras. As a First Nations activist, he uses his music to highlight the issues affecting his people.
