Ses propos humanistes et son enthousiasme contagieux lui ont valu le prix du meilleur concert aux Marley d’or, à Ouagadougou, en 2022. Pour ce spectacle, Kabey sera accompagné de son frère aîné, Dramane Konaté, percussionniste reconnu à travers le monde pour sa puissance et sa technique, qui a notamment travaillé avec Ami Sacko et Bassékou Kouyaté.

The man who describes himself as the Griot of Reggae delivers colorful performances. His humanist lyrics and infectious enthusiasm won him the prize for best concert at the Marley d’or awards in Ouagadougou in 2022. For this show, Kabey will be accompanied by his elder brother, Dramane Konaté, a percussionist renowned worldwide for his power and technique, who has worked with Ami Sacko and Bassékou Kouyaté, among others.
