Influencé par le tropicalisme, un mouvement qui célèbre l’universalité de la musique, l’auteur, compositeur, interprète et réalisateur, virtuose de la guitare, est un brillant touche-à-tout. Autant il excelle à adapter avec finesse les chansons de Gilles Vigneault dans un style Bossa nova, autant ses dernières productions sont un mélange éclatant de samba-funk fusionné à l’électro et au hip-hop. Lancé en 2023, son dernier album, “Cabaça” est dans la même veine: “L’album regorge de cuivres étincelants, de chœurs chaleureux, de lignes de basse «groovy». C’est plein de collaborations merveilleuses.” (Radio-Canada, 2023).
