En quelques EP et une série de dates, Myd a trouvé sa signature : celle d’un musicien minutieux qui flirte entre l’électronique et la pop et qui passe du studio aux clubs pour nous convertir à son idée de la fête où l’on transpire pour mieux s’amuser. Avec son personnage à casquette-moustache, son hymne ‘The Sun’ et ses clips à l’esthétique culte, Myd a compris comment rassembler à travers le monde un public de fidèles danseurs et d’exaltés bienveillants pour qui la nuit peut être solaire. Et à chaque set, à chaque nouvelle sortie c’est à notre tour de comprendre que quelle que soit la fiesta, Myd sait comment s’y prendre.
Myd certainly is a surprising character. That’s because he knows how to do to a lot of different things. With his years of experience, over time he’s captured the art of making you dance in many different ways. In the space of a few EPs and shows around the world, Myd has found his signature style : that of a meticulous musician who flirts between electro and indie pop, and whose sound leaves the studio for the club converting us to his concept of partying, whereby having fun means getting sweaty. With his baseball cap and moustache combo, the anthemic tunes “The Sun” or “Together We Stand” and his cult-status videos, Myd has sure understood how to unify a crowd of faithful dancers and upbeat party-goers, for whom the night always appears sun-drenched. With every set and every new release, we witness that whatever the fiesta, Myd sure knows how to get it started.
