In Cyberdelia, Sabrina Ratté and Roger Tellier-Craig merge sonic architecture and AI-driven visuals into a shifting mindscape. Echoing 90s cyberculture, this live performance probes the psyche-machine interface, revealing mesmerizing and disquieting visions of a techno-future haunted by the Anthropocene.

Topdown Dialectic

Shrouded in anonymity, Topdown Dialectic operates at the edges of form and perception, crafting ambient techno that feels unearthed rather than composed. With no track titles, no credits, and a visual aesthetic stripped to its bones, the project resists easy identification—offering instead a body of work that is both precise and enigmatic.

aria – a fine line between crises and opportunity

aria (aka Dan Driscoll) explores sonic resilience in a fine line between crises and opportunity, a dub-rooted live performance shaped during his recovery from leg amputation. Fusing deep bass, analog FX, breakbeats, and media fragments, he transforms personal adversity into textured soundscapes inspired by dub traditions and the noise of modern disinformation.

Shackleton

Shackleton is one of the most singular voices in electronic music—a producer whose work transcends genre and remains rooted in emotional depth and spiritual intensity. Emerging in the mid-2000s as co-founder of the influential Skull Disco label, his early releases sidestepped dubstep orthodoxy with polyrhythmic percussion, mystical atmospheres, and a distinctly ritualistic aesthetic.

Satosphère

SIM – SLOWTECHERS

Montréal-based producer and researcher SIM is a singular voice in contemporary club culture, known for sculpting bold collisions between techno and dancehall. Originator of the Slow Tech genre, SIM approaches sound as a gravitational field where genres orbit, stretch, and intertwine—merging foundational Caribbean rhythms with the tensile minimalism of electronic music’s vanguard.

Valesuchi

Valesuchi approaches music as a space for sonic, emotional, and spiritual exchange, rather than a product to be consumed. She began producing and DJing in her teenage years, following the death of her older brother, whose equipment she inherited. This transmission marked the beginning of an intimate process of mourning and creation, in which machines became tools for introspection and connection.

Bitter Babe

Bitter Babe’s debut live set at MUTEK Montréal promises a raw, high-voltage trip through fractured rhythms and volatile textures. Balancing bass-heavy intensity with moments of softness and dissonance, her performance shifts from collapse to control in a heartbeat—channeling the full emotional spectrum of future-facing Latin club music.

Kaiwa

Kaiwa is a new creation from Nicola Cruz and machìna, debuting exclusively at MUTEK. Combining Cruz’s shape-shifting dub rhythms with machìna’s modular vocals and tactile techno, this collaboration promises a dynamic live dialogue — raw, unpredictable, and charged with cross-continental chemistry.
