Ivytide est un groupe indie pop de Montréal, Canada. Les membres fondateurs, Nathan Gagné (chant, guitare), Jamie Snytte (guitare) et Kyle Ruggiero (basse) se sont rencontrés dans un studio d’enregistrement, où ils ont commencé à développer une alchimie dans l’écriture de leurs chansons. Un amour mutuel pour la musique indie lo-fi a mené à la production de chansons bedroom pop avec des mélodies complexes mais accrocheuses, qui flottent au-dessus d’une instrumentation bien pensée.
Ivytide is an indie pop band from Montreal, Canada. founding members, Nathan Gagné (vocals, guitar), Jamie Snytte (guitar) and Kyle Ruggiero (bass) met at a recording studio, where they started to develop a chemistry in their songwriting. A mutual love for lo-fi indie music led to the production of bedroom pop songs with intricate, but catchy melodies, which float on top of well thought-out instrumentation.
