Tim Brady invites two Montreal guitarist-composers, Emmanuel Jacob Lacopo and Kevin O’Neil, for a concert to explore the infinite possibilities of the electric and electrified classical guitar.

In the first part, Emmanuel Jacob Lacopo uses electronic devices to paint sonic landscapes with his electric and classical guitars, whether in his own pieces or in a re-imagined pre-existing repertoire. Through this program, the composer and guitarist aims to redefine the constraints of the 21st-century guitar and what classical music can sound like today.

In the second part, Kevin, a fan of atmospheric music, highlights the incredible versatility of the electric guitar through his {teotwawki} project. Kevin’s constant aim is to weave long, vast soundscapes that allow the soul to lose itself in oceans of timbre and time. He takes advantage of this concert to present the new {teotwawki} material before entering the studio to record it.
