For one evening, the Quasar Quartet pays tribute to the Quebec composer of contemporary music, Claude Vivier, who passed away 40 years ago.
This tribute concert, developed in collaboration with composer Yassen Vodenitcharov, includes an original work by Claude Vivier, Pulau Dewata, two works by Vivier masters (Paul Méfano and Gilles Tremblay) and a creation by Yassen Vodenitcharov (commissioned by Radio-France) and Florence Tremblay.
Le quatuor Quasar rend hommage, le temps d’une soirée, au compositeur québécois de musique contemporaine, Claude Vivier, disparu il y a 40 ans maintenant.
Ce concert hommage, élaboré en collaboration avec le compositeur Yassen Vodenitcharov, comprend une œuvre originale de Claude Vivier, Pulau Dewata, deux œuvres de maîtres de Vivier (Paul Méfano et Gilles Tremblay) ainsi qu’une création de Yassen Vodenitcharov (commande de Radio-France) et de Florence Tremblay.
