Aziz Maraka is a Jordanian music composer, singer, performer, recording artist, and producer. Maraka created a music style called “Razz”, an Arabic Rock-Jazz fusion that garnered global attention. Aziz has been playing the piano and singing for as long as he can remember. His skills became apparent as a freshman in college, when he won first place in a Jordan competition for music composition. Since then, he has released several hits, reaching millions of listeners around the Arab world, and gathering tens of thousands of fans to his concerts. Most recently, over 15000 people attended his concert in Cairo, and over 5000 in Amman. In July, Aziz took the streets of Alexandria where he sang to his fans in a very casual set up. No mics, no lights, no sound system. Just him, a Ukulele and a guitarist. Aziz is a citizen of the Arab world, as he is Jordanian, born in Tunisia, from a Palestinian father and a Lebanese mother. For Aziz, home is MUSIC. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to see him perform live in Canada for the first time!
