Aswell at the Club Soda

Club Soda - Montréal À partir de 32,50$
· by Rédaction PAN M 360

A phenomenon of the streamosphere, independent artist Aswell has already racked up over 20 million listens on online listening platforms, including the track Leaving, which alone has racked up nearly 8 million listens.

In his early twenties, he has given over 60 performances across Quebec in the last two years. We’ve seen him at Festif! in Baie-Saint-Paul, FestiVoix in Trois-Rivières, Les Francos de Montréal and 2 sold-out nights at Le Ministère de Montréal.

Aswell feels ready to present his very first album, Banlieue, on the legendary Club Soda stage on April 5, 2024. Accompanied by his DJ and musicians, as well as several special guests unveiled when the album is released on February 16, he will discuss the themes of this new opus, as well as revisiting some of his favorite songs from his catalog, including Hard To Love, Leaving, Solo and Dead Summer.

Reminiscent of artists such as Juice Wrld, The Kid Laroi and Lomepal, Aswell’s music is somewhere between pop rap and emo rap. The artist uses melodies and sung flows, making the project accessible to a wide audience. The rather introspective narrative, meanwhile, is mostly centered on subjects such as failure in love, regret and existential emptiness.
