Arthur Higelin – plus connu sous le nom d’Arthur H – est un pianiste, chanteur et auteur-compositeur français, célèbre pour ses prestations scéniques. Il a remporté le prix de l’album pop/rock de l’année à la Victoire de la musique pour son album L’Homme du monde.

Né à Paris, Arthur H est le fils de Nicole Courtois et du chanteur Jacques Higelin. Il passe une partie de sa jeunesse à voyager aux Antilles avant de revenir dans sa ville natale de Paris, où il développe un style de musique original et éclectique, influencé par le blues, le jazz, la musique du Moyen-Orient, les Sex Pistols et Serge Gainsbourg. En 1988, il commence à se produire dans des clubs de la région parisienne aux côtés du batteur Paul Jothy et du bassiste Brad Scott. Deux ans plus tard, il sort son premier album, Arthur H.

Arthur Higelin – better known as Arthur H – is a pianist, singer and songwriter from France, famous for his live performances. He won Pop/Rock Album of the Year at La Victoire de la Musique for his album L’Homme du Monde.

Born in Paris, Arthur H is the son of Nicole Courtois and singer Jacques Higelin. He spent part of his youth travelling in the West Indies before returning to his home city of Paris, where he developed his original, eclectic style of music influenced by blues, jazz, Middle Eastern music, the Sex Pistols and Serge Gainsbourg. In 1988 he began performing in clubs around Paris alongside drummer Paul Jothy and bass player Brad Scott, and two years later dropped his critically acclaimed debut album Arthur H.
