August Burns Red est un groupe américain de metalcore originaire de Lancaster, en Pennsylvanie, formé en 2003. La formation actuelle du groupe est composée du guitariste principal John Benjamin “JB” Brubaker, du guitariste rythmique Brent Rambler, du batteur Matt Greiner, du chanteur principal Jake Luhrs et du bassiste Dustin Davidson. Le groupe a été nommé aux Grammy Awards en 2016 pour la meilleure performance metal pour la chanson “Identity” de son album de 2015 Found in Far Away Places, et à nouveau en 2018 pour “Invisible Enemy” de Phantom Anthem (2017). Le groupe a publié dix albums studio à ce jour ; leur dernier, Death Below, est sorti le 24 mars 2023.

The band was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2016 for Best Metal Performance for the song “Identity” from its 2015 release Found in Far Away Places, and again in 2018 for “Invisible Enemy” from Phantom Anthem (2017). The band has released ten studio albums to date; their latest, Death Below, was released on March 24, 2023.
