Jesús Alemañy qui, selon The Village Voice, a « la prestance d’un Miles Davis ainsi que la fluidité précise et funky de Fats Navarro », s’est d’abord fait connaître au sein du mythique groupe Sierra Maestra alors qu’il n’avait que 15 ans. Avec ¡Cubanismo!, il a signé sept albums et a tourné dans plus de 50 pays, s’arrêtant dans les festivals les plus prestigieux du monde.

Alemañy, who, according to The Village Voice, has “the presence of a Miles Davis and the precise, funky fluidity of Fats Navarro”, first made a name for himself with the legendary group Sierra Maestra at just 15 years old. With ¡Cubanismo!, he has released seven albums and toured more than 50 countries, appearing at many of the world’s most prestigious festivals.
