M83 est un groupe français originaire d’Antibes, créé en 1999 par les multi-instrumentistes Anthony Gonzalez et Nicolas Fromageau. Après la tournée de Dead Cities, Red Seas et Lost Ghosts, Nicolas Fromageau quitte le projet en 2004. Le groupe est désormais basé à Los Angeles (Californie), en raison de sa forte popularité aux États-Unis. M83 propose une musique dream-pop infusée de synthétiseurs.
M83 is a French band from Antibes, created in 1999 by the multi-instrumentalists Anthony Gonzalez and Nicolas Fromageau. After the tour of Dead Cities, Red Seas and Lost Ghosts, Nicolas Fromageau left the project in 2004. The band is now based in Los Angeles (California), due to its strong popularity in the United States. M83 proposes a dream-pop music infused with synthesizers.
