Born from the ashes of Women, the Calgary-based band amazes with an unpredictable first album that significantly deviates from the sound of their debut EP Cassette. A record featuring dark themes and sounds, topped with rich, low-frequency textures contrasted with crystalline guitar tones and clocked by mechanical drum beats. The track “Death”, which closes the album, is a tour de force of more than 11 minutes of unparalleled intensity.
