To kick off 2025, PAN M 360 asked several of its partners’ artistic directors to suggest their favorite albums of the past year.
Founder and COO of SIX media marketing, a key player in Quebec music media relations, Simon Fauteux has been in the music business since his early teens. Originally a musician and singer himself, he still makes music on his own time – including the release of Tempus Fugit in 2022. A connoisseur of classic rock and especially prog rock, he’s also an enthusiast of a wide range of musical styles, for which he’s been press relations officer since the 90’s. He’s still on fire, and offers us his favorite opuses from 2024.
Last Plane Out – Last Plane Out
The debut album from the Swedish duo of composer Nils Erikson and lyricist Anders Lundquist offers irresistible melodic pop-prog. My album of the year.
Richard Hawley – In This City They Call You Love
10th album from the man with the silky voice and former Pulp touring guitarist. A perfect blend of folk, rockabilly and pop. A master of melody.
Tuk Smith & The Restless Hearts – Rogue To Redemption
Rock, that’s how it’s done.
