“Make sure that guitar is good and loud, don’t be scared.” Oh Sees founder John Dwyer opens this live album with a warning. Known for their explosive concerts, the cult Californian psych-garage band offers a live album that lives up to its reputation. The best songs from their vast repertoire keep us on the edge of our seats thanks to Dwyer’s exhilarating, saturated guitar, accompanied by two fierce drummers and a bass player. It’s an excellent album that perfectly captures the power of a band that has made the walls of more than one venue shake.
