Imagine hitting a brick wall at full speed — that might bang you up a bit less than Limp Wrist’s wall of sound! In operation since 1998, the American band doesn’t step lightly: their preferred style is queercore, an alloy of hardcore and punk reinforced by the queer identity of its members. Each of the quartet’s tunes sounds like a ton of bricks, and never stop surpassing themselves in violence and aggressiveness. Screaming, vengeful voices, strident guitars and wild percussion are the fuel of Facades.
