À la fin de l’année 2017, douze ans après sa création, le groupe Hey Rosetta ! s’est mis en hiatus. Pour le principal auteur-compositeur et chanteur du groupe, Tim Baker, c’était le début d’un nouveau chapitre. Sur son premier album solo Forever Overhead, Baker vous accueille chaleureusement. Les premiers mots qu’on l’entend chanter, sur le premier single “Dance”, ressemblent à un toast : « here’s to the other side. »
Forever Overhead est un mélange de ballades au piano et de morceaux folk-rock exubérants. At the end of 2017, twelve years after their inception, the band Hey Rosetta! went on hiatus. For the band’s principal songwriter and lead vocalist Tim Baker, this was the start of a new chapter. On his debut solo album Forever Overhead, Baker warmly welcomes you to it. The opening words we hear him sing, on the first single “Dance,” is akin to a toast: “here’s to the other side.”
