L’année 2019 a marqué un jalon décisif pour le groupe, lorsque Budos V a débuté à la première place du classement Billboard Heatseekers, sous les applaudissements de la presse, notamment de NPR All Songs Considered et du Rolling Stone. Leur dernier album, Long in The Tooth, a été enregistré en cinq jours aux Diamond Mine Studios dans le Queens, à New York. Les huit membres du groupe y ont la puissance d’un orchestre.
