Ousseynou Ndiaye, connu sous le nom de scène Claire Mc, est un artiste polyvalent originaire de Thiès, au Sénégal. Rappeur, poète, danseur de hip-hop et chanteur reggae, il évolue depuis les années 1990 comme figure marquante de la culture urbaine sénégalaise. En 2001, il fonde à Thiès le groupe DENCUKAAYU KANG avec ses frères AMLY et WALY. Leur album Bayi Thi Khel (2006) propulse le collectif sur le devant de la scène grâce à un rap conscient alliant engagement social, poésie et influences slam. En 2010, Claire Mc entame une carrière solo axée sur le slam, où il affine son écriture et son expression poétique. Sacré Meilleur Slameur du Sénégal en 2016, il atteint l’année suivante les demi-finales de la Coupe du Monde de Slam Poésie en France. Il participe ensuite à divers festivals internationaux, du FISH MALI au Rio Poetry Slam au Brésil, jusqu’au Festival International de Slam/Poésie en Acadie (FISPA) en 2019. Installé à Montréal, il poursuit son cheminement artistique au sein du collectif GREFF ART et prépare son prochain album Cicatrice, une œuvre mêlant slam, rap et reggae, où il explore les thèmes de l’identité, de la résilience et de la paix. À travers son parcours, Claire Mc s’impose comme un artiste engagé et poète moderne, portant haut la voix d’une génération consciente entre le Sénégal et le Canada.
Auro Moura est un musicien polyvalent originaire du Brésil, établi à Montréal depuis près de dix ans. Fort de plus de vingt ans d’expérience, il s’impose comme chanteur, auteur-compositeur, producteur de musique et éducateur reconnu. En tant que compositeur, il a participé à la création de quatre albums et d’un EP, tout en mettant son expertise au service du cinéma, de la publicité, de la danse et du théâtre. Depuis son arrivée au Québec, Auro Moura s’attache à promouvoir la musique et la culture brésiliennes, en cofondant notamment le programme musical Les Brasileirinhos et le Chœur Scénique Brésilien, deux initiatives dédiées à la transmission et à la célébration de la culture du Brésil. Sa démarche artistique se distingue par la fusion subtile entre ses racines brésiliennes et des influences musicales internationales, dépassant les clichés du bossa nova ou du samba-reggae pour explorer de nouvelles textures sonores. Ces dernières années, il a consolidé sa présence sur la scène montréalaise. Lauréat d’une bourse de mentorat de Diversité Artistique Montréal (DAM) en 2019, il a également obtenu trois subventions de recherche-création du Conseil des Arts de Montréal (2020, 2021 et 2022), témoignant de la reconnaissance de son apport au paysage culturel local. En 2023, son travail a été mis en lumière dans le cadre du projet Alliance de MAI, confirmant son engagement à faire rayonner la musique brésilienne au Québec tout en affirmant une voix artistique singulière et inspirante.

Ousseynou Ndiaye, known by his stage name Claire Mc, is a versatile artist from Thiès, Senegal. A rapper, poet, hip-hop dancer, and reggae singer, he has been a key figure in Senegal’s urban culture scene since the 1990s. In 2001, he founded the group DENCUKAAYU KANG in Thiès with his brothers AMLY and WALY. Their album Bayi Thi Khel (2006) brought them national recognition through their socially conscious rap, blending poetic expression with slam influences. In 2010, Claire Mc embarked on a solo career focused on slam poetry, refining his lyrical depth and performance style. Named Best Slam Poet of Senegal in 2016, he reached the semifinals of the World Slam Poetry Cup in France the following year. His performances have taken him to major international festivals such as FISH MALI, the Rio Poetry Slam in Brazil, and the International Slam/Poetry Festival in Acadia (FISPA) in 2019. Now based in Montreal, Claire Mc continues to expand his artistic reach with the collective GREFF ART while working on his upcoming album Cicatrice. The project blends slam, rap, and reggae, exploring themes of identity, resilience, and peace. Through his art, Claire Mc stands out as a committed and authentic voice, bridging cultures between Senegal and Canada while championing poetic and conscious expression.
Auro Moura is a versatile musician from Brazil who has been based in Montreal for nearly ten years. With over two decades of experience, he has established himself as a respected singer, songwriter, music producer, and educator. As a composer, he has contributed to the creation of four albums and one EP, while lending his musical expertise to film, advertising, dance, and theatre. Since moving to Quebec, Auro Moura has been dedicated to promoting Brazilian music and culture, co-founding the musical program Les Brasileirinhos and the Chœur Scénique Brésilien — two initiatives that celebrate and share the richness of Brazilian cultural heritage. His artistic approach stands out for its subtle blending of Brazilian roots with international musical influences, moving beyond the familiar boundaries of bossa nova or samba-reggae to explore new sonic landscapes. In recent years, Auro Moura has strengthened his presence in Montreal’s arts scene. A recipient of a mentorship grant from Diversité Artistique Montréal (DAM) in 2019, he also received three consecutive research-creation grants from the Conseil des Arts de Montréal (2020, 2021, and 2022), recognizing his ongoing contribution to the local cultural landscape. In 2023, his work was highlighted through the Alliance project by MAI (Montréal, arts interculturels), affirming his commitment to promoting Brazilian music in Quebec while asserting a unique and inspiring artistic voice.
