NO HAY BANDA is collaborating with Tomomi Adachi to premiere his new opera, Body without Organs (with Organ). Performed in a church, the grand acoustic atmosphere is considered part of the ensemble.

Percussionist Patrick Graham and harpist/ koto player Sarah Pagé have an unusually coincidental, even eerie, musical connection that balances the worlds of acoustic and electronically manipulated sounds while displaying multitudinous influences and compositional approaches. The pair share backgrounds in Western classical music, graduating from the same schools ten years apart, and a passion for Japanese music, which they have both studied extensively. They are vigorous experimenters, striving to re-imagine their instruments through electronic treatments and custom pick-ups while exploring their mutual love of acoustic textures with innovative tunings and instrument installations.
