Il interprétera deux pièces composées pour lui par les légendaires libérateurs de la musique John Cage et Ornette Coleman (à l’occasion de l’anniversaire du décès de ce dernier). Goldstein sera accompagné par Nicolas Caloia etRainer Wiens. Devenir-Ensemble complètera la soirée en interprétant “Résonances Manifestes”, leur dernière sortie sur Cuchabata Records, une pièce qui rappelle les manifestations qui ont secoué la rue tout en conversant avec notre présent fracturé.
Once again, we welcome back the great beacon Malcolm Goldstein. This evening, he will perform two pieces composed for him by legendary music liberators John Cage and Ornette Coleman (on the anniversary of the latter’s passing). Goldstein will be accompanied by Nicolas Caloia and Rainer Wiens. Devenir-Ensemble round out the evening, performing ‘Résonances Manifestes’, their newest release on Cuchabata Records, a piece that harkens back to street-shaking protests while also dialoguing with our fractured present.
