Le spectaculaire et coloré Soweto Gospel Choir, trois fois primé aux Grammy®, revient en Amérique du Nord avec son nouveau spectacle HOPE – It’s Been A Long Time Coming. Ce programme spécial célébrera les artistes américains et sud-africains associés aux luttes pour les droits civils et la justice sociale à travers les histoires complexes de leurs pays. 

Vous entendrez des chansons sud-africaines de liberté, de la musique d’Aretha Franklin, Harry Belafonte, Mahlia Jackson et d’autres grands artistes, ainsi que de la musique gospel africaine traditionnelle et des chants spirituels. En direct d’Afrique du Sud, Soweto Gospel Choir est un ensemble impressionnant qui fait vibrer le public du monde entier par ses rythmes enlevants, ses harmonies riches et ses magnifiques costumes. 

The spectacular and colorful three-time Grammy® Award winning SOWETO GOSPEL CHOIR returns to North America with HOPE – It’s Been A Long Time Coming. This special program will celebrate American and South African artists associated with the struggles for civil rights and social justice throughout their countries’ complex histories.  

Expect to hear South African freedom songs as well as music of Aretha Franklin, Harry Belafonte, Mahlia Jackson and others combined with traditional African gospel music and spirituals. Direct from South Africa, Soweto Gospel Choir is an awe-inspiring ensemble that thrills audiences worldwide. Through its earthy rhythms, rich harmonies, brilliant costumes and infectious spirit, a Soweto Gospel Choir performance truly uplifts the soul.
