Matrixxman
Alors que la scène techno américaine s’est raréfiée ces dernières années, Charles Duff, alias Matrixxman, s’impose comme une figure incontournable. Son univers sonore, froid et mécanisé, conserve pourtant une chaleur subtile et harmonieuse. Sa musique incarne une étincelle d’humanité dans un monde en marche vers l’automatisation et la singularité technologique. Joué par des figures comme DVS1, Rødhåd, Jeff Mills, Ben Klock, Richie Hawtin ou Levon Vincent, il a également été remixé par des légendes telles que Larry Heard, Silent Servant et The Hieroglyphic Being. Après une série remarquée d’EPs sur Dekmantel, Planet Rhythm et Delft, il sort son premier album chez Ghostly International en 2015.
Amid a scarcity of US techno producers in recent years, Charles Duff, also known as Matrixxman, has emerged as a new force. His sound tends to be cold and mechanised yet still retains an element of warmth and soul. His music is a lone spark of instantiated humanity amid the march toward automata and technological singularity. His music has been played by the likes of DVS1, Rødhåd, Jeff Mills, Ben Klock, Richie Hawtin, and Levon Vincent, and remixed by Larry Heard, Silent Servant, and The Hieroglyphic Being. After a steady output of EPs on labels like Dekmantel, Planet Rhythm, and Delft, he released his first full-length album on Ghostly International in 2015.
Quan
Quan est un producteur de musique électronique vietnamien basé à Montréal depuis 2018. Ancien DJ résident au Savage à Hanoï et directeur technique du festival Equation, il a joué un rôle important dans le développement de la scène électronique vietnamienne et asiatique en général. En 2017, il devient le premier artiste vietnamien à se produire pour Boiler Room Vietnam et entame une tournée à travers l’Asie avec son live set entièrement joué sur du matériel hardware. Installé au Canada, il fonde Quanalog Instruments, une entreprise spécialisée dans la fabrication de synthétiseurs modulaires. Il fait ses débuts au festival MUTEK Montréal, avec lequel il collabore depuis. En 2022, il présente son système personnalisé au salon Superbooth à Berlin, puis donne son premier live européen au mythique Berghain.
Quan is a Vietnamese electronic music producer based in Montreal since 2018. Formerly a resident DJ at Savage in Hanoi and technical manager for Equation festival, significantly contributing to the development of the Vietnamese and broader Asian electronic music scene. He was the first Vietnamese artist at Boiler Room Vietnam in 2017 and toured across Asia with his live hardware set. In Canada, he founded Quanalog Instruments, crafting modular synths. He debuted at MUTEK Montreal and has since collaborated with the festival. In 2022, he showcased his custom system at Superbooth Berlin and performed his European debut live set at Berghain.
Dileta
Dileta est un·e DJ résdent·e de Homegrown Harvest depuis 2019 reconnu·e pour son style à la fois atmosphérique, explosif et imprévisible, joignant d’innombrables sous-genres et époques de musique bass et techno en une structure complexe en constante évolution. Iel a fait ses preuves en ouverture ou fermeture pour des artistes visionnaires tels que DJ Stingray, Objekt, LCY, Batu, re:ni, Mor Elian, Ploy, Darwin, Martyn, Ayesha, Ben UFO, Overland et Nikki Nair, ainsi que dans des sets b2b mémorables avec des légendes locales comme Anabasine, Honeydrip et Lis Dalton.
Resident DJ at the Homegrown Harvest parties since 2019, Dileta is known for their atmospheric, explosive and unpredictable style, fusing numerous subgenres and eras of bass music and techno into an intricate structure in constant flux. They made their mark opening or closing for forward thinking artists like DJ Stingray, Objekt, LCY, Batu, re:ni, Mor Elian, Ploy, Darwin, Martyn, Ayesha, Ben UFO, Overland and Nikki Nair, as well as in memorable b2b sets with local legends like Anabasine, Honeydrip and Lis Dalton.
