C’est l’esprit que font revivre nos deux complices, Jean Marchand partageant sa vie de pianiste avec sa carrière d’acteur, et Olivier Godin nourrissant la sienne avec la direction artistique de la Salle Bourgie. In the 19th century, the piano held a central place in the salon, a space for exchange and intimacy, where music was experienced up close, among family or friends. It is this spirit that our two collaborators revive: Jean Marchand, sharing his life as a pianist alongside his career as an actor, and Olivier Godin, enriching his through his role as artistic director of Salle Bourgie. Together, through the sublime works of Brahms and Schubert, they rekindle this tradition of attentive listening and shared enjoyment.
