Rémi-Jean LeBlanc, basé à Montréal, est actif sur la scène musicale canadienne depuis 2005 et a collaboré avec un grand nombre de musiciens à Montréal et au Canada, dont Yannick Rieu, Jean-Michel Pilc, Marianne Trudel, Steve Amirault, Carol Welsman et Elizabeth Shepherd.

R-J a également effectué des tournées avec différents projets en Europe, en Chine, au Japon, au Mexique, aux États-Unis et au Canada et s’est produit avec des artistes internationaux tels que David Binney, Seamus Blake, Greg Osby, Terri Lyne Carrington, Ari Hoenig, Gilad Hekselman, Ben Wendel et Billy Hart.

Il a sorti un troisième album en tant que leader en 2018, Déductions. L’album comprend le guitariste Nir Felder de NYC, le pianiste cubain Rafael Zaldivar, le Montréalais Sam Joly à la batterie et offre une prise énergique et introspective sur le jazz infusé de rock….

Montreal-based Rémi-Jean LeBlanc has been active on the canadian music scene since 2005 and has collaborated with an array of musicians in Montreal and in Canada including Yannick Rieu, Jean-Michel Pilc, Marianne Trudel, Steve Amirault, Carol Welsman, and Elizabeth Shepherd.

R-J has also toured with different projects in Europe, China, Japan, Mexico, the US, and Canada and has performed with international artists such as David Binney, Seamus Blake, Greg Osby, Terri Lyne Carrington, Ari Hoenig, Gilad Hekselman, Ben Wendel, and Billy Hart.

He has put out a third album as a leader in 2018, Déductions. The album features NYC guitarist Nir Felder, cuban pianist Rafael Zaldivar, Montreal-native Sam Joly on drums and offers an energetic, introspective take on rock-infused jazz
