De nombreux chœurs et groupes de chant de partout au Canada et d’ailleurs ont répondu à l’appel de candidatures lancé par le Comité national de PODIUM 2024 pour participer au Festival à Montréal. Neuf groupes exceptionnels ont été choisis par le comité de sélection pour présenter une variété de programmes mettant en vedette différents styles, compositeur.trice.s et créateur.trice.s de musique. Chaque concert est conçu pour élargir nos esprits, ouvrir nos cœurs et célébrer la joie du chant collectif.
Les trois groupes à l’affiche de ce concert sont le Chœur des Jeunes de Laval (Philippe Ostiguy) de Laval (QC), le Chœur Adleisia (Megan Batty et Virginie Pacheco) de Montréal (QC) et le Holy Heart Chamber Choir (Robert Colbourne) de St. John’s (T.-N.-L.).
Numerous choirs and vocal groups from across Canada and beyond responded to the PODIUM 2024 National Committee’s call for applications to participate in the Festival in Montreal. Nine outstanding groups were chosen by the selection committee to present a variety of programs featuring different styles, composers and music creators. Each concert is designed to expand our minds, open our hearts and celebrate the joy of collective song.
The three groups featured in this concert are the Chœur des Jeunes de Laval (Philippe Ostiguy) from Laval (QC), the Chœur Adleisia (Megan Batty and Virginie Pacheco) from Montreal (QC) and the Holy Heart Chamber Choir (Robert Colbourne) from St. John’s (NL).
