Contrary to a show, a showcase proposes a short performance. The showcase allows the public to be initiated to the proposal of an artist or a group. Within the framework of the Phoque OFF, the showcases are 20 minutes long. Have a good discovery!

Poetic, Groovy, Funk at times and Soul on the whole, Yao, with his deep voice, succeeds in charming with the warm universe of his sweet poetry and his artistic audacity. His pictorial writing – marked by a great sensitivity – reminds us of the textual richness of the French rap of MC Solaar, Abdel Malik or Oxmo Puccino, with an eclectic pop side – where the musical universes follow one another and intertwine through the antics of this poet. After numerous distinctions, awards and shows nationally (in 10 of the 13 provinces and territories), as well as internationally (France, Switzerland, Belgium, Madagascar, Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco, Cape Verde), Yao, with his musicians, offers a personal, vibrant and captivating show that you will want to see more than once. In 2023, a tour of Africa and Europe is planned, as well as a tour of the West Coast of Canada.
