OSM : Vos incontournables symphoniques – Express

Thu 21 Jan 2027 • 07:30 pm classique / immersif / période romantique
Maison symphonique - Montréal De 28$ à 115$
· by Rédaction PAN M 360

A 60-minute concert customised to YOUR preferences, featuring the greatest hits of classical music! What if we explored the great repertoire as if leafing through a book of short stories? Here, Grieg’s most famous dawn, born in the madness of Peer Gynt; further on, Mozart’s horn, conceived as a playful wink to a mischievous virtuoso; then Elgar’s Nimrod, a secret tribute to a silent friend; and Beethoven, whose four notes changed history. Rachmaninoff, Wagner, Prokofiev… and in the midst of it all, the inimitable P. D. Q. Bach—the only fictional offspring of a real dynasty, a deliberately offbeat genius and deliciously parodic spirit.
In this joyful vein, the OSM invites you to choose two works to complete the program: a tailor-made, playful, interactive concert featuring two exceptional soloists, Catherine Turner and Carter Johnson. To vote for the works you would like to hear, click on the link indicated in your order confirmation, sent to you by email a few minutes after your purchase. The voting deadline is September 28, 2026.
