L’Orchestre national de jazz de Montréal (ONJ) présente en rappel le concert réunissant le bassiste virtuose Alain Caron, le batteur Paul Brochu et le pianiste John Roney, sous la direction de Marianne Trudel. The Orchestre national de jazz de Montréal (ONJ) will present an encore performance of the concert featuring virtuoso bassist Alain Caron, drummer Paul Brochu, and pianist John Roney, conducted by Marianne Trudel. This concert celebrates the repertoire from Alain Caron’s historic collaboration with the WDR Big Band Cologne in April 2005—a project led by Michael Abene that marked a turning point in his career by merging his jazz-fusion style with the power of a big band. The evening promises an immersion in big band arrangements, contemporary energy, and improvisation, paying tribute to the legacy of 2005 and the artistic evolution of these great musicians.
