The trumpeter and afro-Caribbean rhythms enthusiast Étienne Sevet has gathered around him a panoply of musicians from the Maghreb, Africa and Latin America to create a stunning groove, between traditional folk and cosmopolitan experimentation, sometimes reminiscent of the world of La Mano Negra and destined to set the dancefloor ablaze. “La Ñapa”, a prelude EP to a full album in 2023, features captivating vocals and crosses genres with formidable effectiveness.
