Namori Cissé at Club Balattou

Namori, batteur, auteur et compositeur canadien, résidant au Québec et originaire de Côte d’Ivoire, poursuit avec sa batterie une recherche de « fusion des sons ». 

Auteur de deux albums « Gui Blo » et « Point d’interrogation », l’artiste amalgame sonorités africaines, jazz, reggae, rock et soul, aux airs traditionnels ivoiriens, dans son célèbre style Afro-Jazz Fusion.

Ex-leader du groupe AWANA, le batteur, chanteur, auteur-compositeur et arrangeur NAMORI a parcouru avec succès les routes d’Europe, de l’Amérique du Nord et d’Afrique et a joué aux côtés de grands artistes tels que Salif Keita, Jean Leloup et Michel Cusson.

Cette recherche musicale fait une synthèse entre deux mondes musicaux : la musique traditionnelle de la Côte d’Ivoire et la musique jazz contemporaine.. Soyez les bienvenu-es pour la découverte d’un vrai bonheur !

Namori, canadian drummer, author and composer, living in Quebec and from the Ivory Coast, pursues with his drums a search for “fusion of sounds”. 

Author of two albums ” Gui Blo ” and ” Point d’interrogation “, the artist amalgamates African sounds, jazz, reggae, rock and soul, with traditional Ivorian tunes, in his famous Afro-Jazz Fusion style.

Ex-leader of the group AWANA, the drummer, singer, songwriter and arranger NAMORI has successfully toured Europe, North America and Africa and has played alongside great artists such as Salif Keita, Jean Leloup and Michel Cusson.
