Safia Nihil

In their Canadian debut, Safia Nihil unveils a refined downtempo live set to mark the release of their new EP. Rooted in Maghrebi-Italian heritage and analog textures, the Chez.Kito.Kat duo, composed of D.B.Y. and SHADYA, crafts a meditative journey—where modular synths, gentle breakbeats, and fragrant herbs intertwine in sonic ritual.

Claire

Claire Kenway, known as Claire, is a Montréal-based DJ and producer whose music bridges analog electronics with a clear sense of rhythm and atmosphere. With roots in classical and jazz training—violin, voice, bass guitar, and piano—she brings a layered understanding of melody and form to her productions. Her setup is compact but effective: a selection of drum machines, sequencers, samplers, and synths that she uses to shape tracks with depth and clarity. Her releases on labels like Conceptual, Monoclap, Hushlamb, and Archipel reflect a sound that leans minimal and textural, but always grounded in groove.
