Musiciens de l’OSM – Le quatuor pour la fin du temps : louange et abîme

Pour rendre hommage à Olivier Messiaen, mort un 27 avril il y a trente ans cette année, les musiciens de l’OSM proposent une de ses œuvres majeures, le Quatuor pour la fin du temps, inspiré par l’Apocalypse de saint Jean et composé en 1941 alors qu’il était prisonnier dans un camp en Allemagne.

In tribute to Olivier Messiaen who died thirty years ago today, April 27, the Musicians of the OSM offer one of his major works, Quartet for the End of Time, inspired by The Apocalypse of John, composed in 1941 whilst he was a prisoner of war in Germany.
